Their diameters typically range from 4 millimeters to 32 millimeters, and they are characterized by high precision and strict detail requirements. They can be as small as 4 millimeters in diameter. Due to the different materials used for ball screws, their application scope and requirements differ significantly from those of machine tool ball screws. In our production process, we frequently encounter various customer requirements. Common materials include GCr15, while some customers request stainless steel such as 304 or 316.
Most ball screws contain seals, typically made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). The retainers can be either plastic or metal.
Common nominal diameter specifications for miniature ball screws include 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, and 12 mm. Common pitches are 0.8 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2 mm. In domestic production, the internal thread raceways of conventional miniature ball screws are precision-ground to fit.
