Natebon linear guide rail failure troubleshooting guide

As the core component of precision transmission, the stable operation of Natebon linear guide rails directly affects equipment performance. Common faults and solutions are as follows:

  1. Abnormal sliding resistance
    Manifests as motion jamming or increased noise. Caused by oil contamination, metal debris accumulation, or insufficient lubrication on the rail surface. Solution: Clean the rail surface thoroughly with lint-free cloth and dedicated cleaner; check for blockages in the lubrication system and replenish high-viscosity rail grease. If worn over time, replace the slider assembly.

  2. Positioning accuracy degradation
    When motion trajectory deviation occurs, first inspect the installation reference surface. Use a laser interferometer to check rail parallelism and adjust fastening bolts to specified torque. A case study shows that a CNC machine tool with 0.1mm/m vertical deviation due to foundation settlement restored precision by adding adjustable shims.

  3. Lubrication system failure
    Excessive lubrication causes oil film contamination, while insufficient lubrication accelerates wear.建议采用自动注油系统,根据负载频率设置周期(重载设备每8小时注油1次)。定期检查油路密封性,防止切削液渗入。

  4. Sudden abnormal noise
    Periodic noise occurs when rolling elements are damaged or retainer cages deform. Immediately shut down for inspection, focusing on internal ball wear in the slider. Replace components in pairs during maintenance to avoid secondary damage from mismatched parts.

Establish a daily inspection system and conduct full stroke accuracy testing quarterly. Install cooling devices when ambient temperature exceeds 40°C to prevent rail thermal deformation.
